A great place to feel like and eat with a Beaver Islander. We took our friends who we were staying with out to dinner and it was great. Loved the quaint, converted house, setting. We’d reserved and I’d recommend you do too as it was full on Wednesday. My whitefish was delicious with crispy skin and tender flakes. The others had it too so we could only watch the other dishes on other tables but all looked well-presented with good size portions. Nice local beers and a tasty Reisling too! A great local restaurant for local people and visitors alike. Service is good but it does get busy there so relax, you’re on vacation and soak it all in!
Best place to eat on Beaver Island! Also competes with the best on the mainland! Always a must for every trip here.
Food is the best on the island. The ribeye was perfect and the salmon was amazing. Can't recommend enough!
We got stuck in the middle dining room so we had no view of anything, not even people, just servers coming out of the kitchen! It was a bit confusing figuring out how to get into the restaurant, because there are no signs. The servers were great, and the food was amazing. I ordered filet mignon, and it was tender, and there was a lot of sides to choose from. My husband ordered a whole rack of ribs, which was tender but he took left overs because he couldn't finish it!
The food was crazy delicious. Make reservations if you're going to go, it gets very busy. They have a shuttle to take you home of you drink too much!
We heard that this was the best restaurant on the island, and we’re not disappointed. The whitefish was absolutely perfect. And the soup was incredible. The waitress was busy, but she was great. And the sea gulls were entertaining!
We flew into the Welke Airport and parked on the north end of the runway just a few hundred feet from the restaurant. The pork medallions were excellent. High end food for a reasonable price.
